Sonny's Smokey Mountain
"Sonny"
Incredible 1999 chocolate gelding.
2007 World Super Horse, 2009 Ashley Hytry award winning horse.
Incredible talent, will help anyone achieve great things. We've had 4
year old Avery ride him all by herself at the farm, and in public
appearances, 12 year old youth showed him at RM Internationals to win Ashley
Hytry award, adults have shown and trail ridden him. He'll go
anywhere, do anything! If you're looking for a horse that will help
lead youth into their future, or an experienced mount that will go with you
through lives adventures, look no further.
"Gracie"

Rocky Mountain 2 year old filly. Wonderful
disposition, beautiful build, great bloodlines. Gracie is out of a Sam'Son
mare and Joe Banjo, and was born and raised at South Forty. She has been
saddled and bridled, and has had riders led around on her, but at this time, is
not fully trained to saddle (so many horses, we're getting to them quick as we
can). She's elegant, easy to keep, and has had youth and adults handle her
all the time as she's grown up here at the farm.

"Rocky"
- SOLD
Registered and Certified 2007 Chocolate gelding. Wonderful
disposition, beautiful build. We've owned Rocky since fall of 2007, and
handled him throughout all of his training. He's been ridden by adults and
youth, and handles well with all. He is experienced with obstacle course
activities, including walking through hanging swim noodles (as used in rated
trail), crossing bridges, allowing rider to pick up rain coat or horn (and honk
it). He's been stalled and turned out throughout his time here and is a
pretty easy horse to have around. We compare his potential and the way he
carries himself to our older trail gelding, Bud Light. Easy to ride, he
takes just about any bit, and uses a leather curb strap instead of chain.
Could be a show horse or trail companion for any age rider. Youth could
handle this horse. He has been on limited trail rides and in those,
crossed steep ditches, stepped over fallen trees, and crossed two and a half
foot deep creek. Very special horse!
Thunder - SOLD
Thunder is a wonderful horse to take
anywhere, and do anything with. He has stamina to go for hours, and a
curiosity that will help him learn so much. Thunder is a great horse,
dependable, steady, and one of our favorites! He's strongly gaited,
both with and without shoes, steady as a rock when he's in motion, and
wonderful trail riding. He takes any rider we've got and will go
anywhere, and even helped host 4 year old Avery on her first "real" trail
ride ever, in a buddy saddle. Wonderful horse to experience life with.
